Poker Loco Hits 600,000 Player Record

Last year, PokerLoco saw record growth, as they had in excess of 300,000 newly registered players to bring the total amount of players at the site to 600,000. Currently PokerLoco is seeing new growth to the tune of 20,000 to 25,000 each month. 65% of these new players come from South America.
Stefan Mahlstein, who is the Chairman of Homerun Gaming Ventures Ltd., recently stated,
It is very encouraging to see the inflow of new players from South America. With our newly launched payment solutions we feel very comfortable that we will be successful in converting the registered players into real money players.
PokerLoco began business back in 2006 and even though the company started to focus their business in the Scandinavian market, the South American market has quickly grown. Currently, PokerLoco is seeking out strategic partnerships in the region of South America to take advantage of their popularity in that part of the world.
Speaking about the new focus in the South American region Stefan Mahlstein stated,
We quickly noticed a very high inflow of South American players and therefore we grabbed the opportunity to further develop these markets. Still being a fairly small player in the market we would benefit from partnering with a larger media or entertainment company in the region.
