Hansen and Jorgensen Ready to Battle in the Ring

Gus Hansen is no stranger to battling heads up with other poker players, but is he ready to step into the ring? Up next for the poker pro is an upcoming bout with Theo “The Thunder” Jorgensen. The two poker professionals will fight as part of Hansen’s new website launch, which is www.gushansentv.com. This boxing card will be free to watch and will take place on February 21st of this year.
These two poker pros do not only battle on the poker tables, but also on the squash court. According to reports Hansen would start to shadow box after winning a match against Jorgensen, who would get annoyed at Hensen showing off and challenged the him to partake in a boxing match.
Besides pride, the winner will get $35,000 and Hansen said he is ready for the fight. He recently stated, “Beating up Theo in boxing will be much more enjoyable than winning over him in poker. The sweet taste of victory cannot even be made up in terms of money.”
Hansen is more excited about the upcoming launch of his website than getting in the ring. His website will have information about how he is doing in various tournaments and it will also give his fans the chance to interact with him.
The poker professional from Denmark stated, “Today’s technology means everyone can sit down with me and watch as I play live at tournaments or even just in my hotel room with friends. And because it is online, Gus TV can reach the whole world, for fans as far away as Osaka and Oklahoma.”
