National Heads-Up Poker Championship Set to Return in March

64 of the top poker professionals from all around the world will be playing in the 5th annual National Heads-Up Poker Championship, which will be held from March 6th-8th of this year in Las Vegas. This tournament brings the crème of the crop of the poker world to the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room in order to play in the unique, bracket style head to head tournament for a slice of the $1.5 million prize pool. GoDaddy.com, which is one of the world’s leading hosting domain registrar, will be the presenting sponsor of the National Heads-Up Poker Championship. The tournament will air on NBC over 6 consecutive Sundays in April and May of this year.

Slated to appear at this year’s National Heads-Up Poker Championship are some of the top poker professionals, such as last year’s winner Peter Eastgate, who was also last year’s World Series of Poker champion. Other well-known poker players that are to compete are Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Ivey, and the legendary Doyle Brunson. TV personality and model Leeann Tweeden will again be the sideline reporter and interviewer and providing commentary for the event will be Craig Hummer and Ali Nejad.
